This is a very special and unusual bowl. Visually it is stunning with prominent double circular lines in, out and on the extra large rim. Unique single larger inner circle at the bottom of the bowl. This very thick Jambati has strong hammer marks and external rust colored bloom. What is also unusual about this bowl is its tone – almost a full octave higher than even the highest you usually see in a Jambati. The tone has a very sweet character, medium Nepali mallet recommended. Plays ok with wood, not leather. Item # 1044
