Clear, golden colored Jambati with copper blooms throughout. This bowl is very worn which is indicative of an ancient bowl. It has a strong inner facing rim. This bowl has impressive tone depth and an unusual high frequency flutter when played with a harder mallet (M217). It plays very well with softer mallets like M209, M204 or the Nepali small N111. The bowl is very active, the rim really moves when you use a ringing stick so even though it is not a big bowl I recommend the large ringing stick. It reveals a great high tone with the leather side.
