Very smooth to the touch brass colored lingham bowl with a large inner facing rim. The bowl has lines inside and out, including a double circle around the base of the asymmetrical raised lingham. It has an attractive small bright copper spot inside. The sharp broad (1/2 inch) lip has the effect of keeping the sound in the bowl which gives it a strong warbling (woo-woo) sound from the start. Nice undertones. Good bowl to play continuously with a ringing stick as the sound comes up but does not overwhelm. Small Nepali mallet or soft Musser M204, Large ringing stick. Item # 101
