1283 Antique Jambati Singing Bowl with swirling central tone

Bright Jambati with clean exterior lines and bag marks. A bowl of successive sounds that starts with a thumping low, moves to a steady middle and finishes with a swirling singing high. Lots of complexity adds character to the sound. Sustain is good, especially when played with wood. Stick play is just ok. Bowl is marked down due to a slight rattle that sometimes is in evidence on the strike, quite a deal on such a heavy bowl, over 4 Lbs. With overtones at C4, G4, F#5, D#6.
