1305 Small Antique Jambati Singing Bowl with very low main tone

Lightweight Jambati with a simple bright look. The faintest vestiges of etching are visible in the bottom of the bowl. Sonorous bowl with a strike tone at the very low end of what you see in antique bowls. The strike is so low that the overtones also are bass sounding. The soundscape also has lots of subtle complexity. To play that low purely off the rim a large leather stick is needed, with a small stick the higher part of the soundscape becomes available (end recording 2). With overtones at A3, A4, F5, A5.
