1263 Antique Jambati Singing Bowl with pulsing bass and soaring overtone
Polished Jambati with many exterior lines and 7 inner circles. The bowl has a wide rim with incuse double lines. At the outset you hear the strike tone which remains a pulsing background presence, however this bowl is very much about a prominent soaring 5th octave overtone. Really nice stick bowl so you can play the low and powerful overtone with leather. Great sustain with leather, hear the second ring on recording 2. Plays good with wood, the massive wand or as in the end of recording 2 the small ringing stick. With overtones at C#5, C#6, A6.
