Mani

Mani are thick and heavy high frequency singing bowls. They uniformly have rounded walls that slope in with the old examples having a broad inner facing rim. Except for rare mini Himalayan Mani bowls that can be as small as 5 inches at the belly, Mani are 6 to 8 inches and weigh 2 1/2 to 5 Lbs. Almost all Mani sing in the 5th octave 500 to 1000 Hz. Mani singing bowls have formulaic etching, a few circles inside, and lines on the rim and exterior.
