6112 Broad rimmed Antique Mani Singing Bowl with sweet subtle soundscape

Extra thick Mani with a rim so wide it seems to block your view into the bottom of the bowl. Quite a bit of artistry in that. The rest of the bowl is also full or artistry, deep and shallow hand etched lines and circles. The age of the bowl is also on display with the evidence of hand wear, it is very smooth to the touch. Sweet and subtle soundscape with a little flutter to add texture. At nearly 1 KHz the tone of this bowl is at the very top of the range for full sized mani bowls. Sustain is ok. The smooth and worn edge makes for difficult rim play, really a bowl to play with a mallet for the exceptionally high tone. With overtone at D#7.
