8468 Etched Antique Manipuri Singing Bowl with harmonious brassy complexity

Brassy Manipuri with clear punch circles inside and on the rim. Outside is a simple hammermark design. Complex soundscape with lots of brassy reverb as many tones play off each other. The sound has an almost somatic texture, a presence you can tuck into. Sustain is good. The sharp rim is a little rough but you can play this bowl many ways, the sound clip has three different overtones using 3 different rim ringers With overtones at G5, F6, C#7.
