8567 Extra Thick Antique Manipuri Singing Bowl with malleable soundscape

Bright colored extra thick Manipuri with an extra wide rim. The bowl has a nice mix of hammermarks and etched lines. High pitched bowl with excellent harmony. Malleable soundscape that responds to the way you strike the bowl. Smooth with very good longevity when played with a soft mallet, the bowl becomes high pitched and short lived when played with a hard one. Some strikes will bring out a subtle rattle. The sharp rim is not conducive to stick play. With overtones at C#6, C7.
