8632 Adorned Antique Manipuri Singing Bowl with twangy brassy complexity

Tiny Manipuri with two bold sets of inner circles and rather mysterious inscription. Lively Tin Pan Alley soundscape with a brassy sound and lots of complexity. Lots of texture to the sound of this bowl with it putting out at least a dozen individual notes. Only at the very end of the sustain do things settle down to the usual singing bow sound. Plays great off the rim, strong and clear especially the high overtones With overtones at F#5, F6, F7.
