8659 Tiny Antique Manipuri Singing Bowl with upbeat soundscape

Tiny Manipuri with red and black inside patina. A very used bowl, it has a tiny ding in one corner. Bright exterior with worn extensive artwork throughout. Upbeat soundscape with a nice high strike tone and lots of activity in the individual tones. If you listen to the tones as a group instead of individually you will hear the primary overtone disappear for a brief moment as its amplitude is exceeded by the primary tone. Interesting effect. Very good sonic harmony. Very good sustain for such a small bowl. Not much of a stick or wand bowl (recording 2) With overtones at B5, A#6, F#7.
