8720 Large plain Antique Manipuri Singing Bowl with spectacular sound

Thin large Manipuri with hazy patina. A very plain bowl with spectacular sound. A rich mixture of harmonious tones with excellent sustain, you can play this bowl for the low or the highs with a mallet. Off the rim the bowl naturally sings the first overtone with leather. Pushed with wood there is a powerful and surprising next level overtone – literally a sound that could fill a room. With overtones at F#4, F5, C6.
