8743 Great Antique Manipuri Singing Bowl with powerful long lasting flutter
Bright Manipuri with many worn exterior lines. All the inside artwork has been rubbed smooth. This bowl has the “wow” factor. Right off the strike you hear this powerfully fluttering tone. Just above it is a pure solid high which gives that other strong tone a feathering quality, helping is slide right into your awareness. Sustain is excellent. Plays great off the rim, just a turn or two to full volume with simple wood, even better with a massive wand. Great sustain off the rim. With overtones at G#5, G6, D7, G#7.
