8750 Extra Thick Antique Manipuri Singing Bowl that soars and sings

Extra thick Manipuri with four deep hand etched wavy exterior lines and creamy patina. Impressively bright soundscape where the highs just jump out at you. They just soar, gaining intensity in the seconds after the strike (you can really hear this in the second part of recording 1). Excellent harmony in the bowl. Sustain is just ok with a mallet, much better with wood around the rim. In recording 2 the same ringing stick brings out different pulses with the overtone. With overtones at A#5, A6, F7, B7.
