8850 Thick Antique Manipuri Singing Bowl with very high main tone

Bright double rim Manipuri with faint artwork. A thick bowl that is smooth to the touch. Very high strike tone with high overtones that can be intensified or mellowed out based on how you tap the bowl (see recording 1). I sort of like the mellow face of the bowl. Nice internal harmony w led by the pulsing high fundamental. You can play the fundamental off the rim smoothly for as long as you like with leather. Overtones are playable with a wand for good longevity. With overtones at C#6, C7.
