8934 Antique Manipuri Singing Bowl with emerging woo-woo note

Bright Manipuri with strong hints of what was originally elaborate artwork. Plain sounding strike tone with a woo-woo note that emerges shortly into the ring. Overall sustain is short, multiple strikes can keep the volume up and add to the sustain. Not much play off the rim, the overtone comes out but not gently. With overtones at C#6, C#7, G5.
