8547 Antique Manipuri Singing Bowl with solid harmonious tones from 220 Hz

Bright Manipuri with faint hints of its former artwork such as rim and inner punch circles. A very solid sounding bowl, not a lot of oscillations in the tones. 220 Hz, just a few cents sharp of center. The main overtone, the most prominent is especially steady. Good sustain. Plays nicely with the inexpensive Nepali 118 mallet. Very nice sustain on the overtones, especially with the wood ringing stick and ebony wand. With overtones at E5, D#6, B6, .
