226 Harmonious and Complex Antique Manipuri Lingam Singing Bowl

Thick Manipuri Lingam with original patina. The extensive artwork shows signs of wear, especially inside, but still is impressive. A bowl that has seen a lot of use. Complex harmonious soundscape featuring two clearly oscillating tones that continue their duet throughout an excellent sustain. Additional overtones add subtle depth to the experience. Takes a bit to get going with sticks and wands but after a while you’ll get good volume with the primary overtone that is very near A 880. With overtones at A5, D6, G#6, E7.
