8240 Antique Manipuri Singing Bowl with smooth high overtone

Thick Manipuri bowl with original patina. The bowl is an uncommon type, fluted open with many external lines. It starts with a high strike and even higher overtone. This is a bowl where after a while you wonder where in the room one of the tones is coming from it is so smooth. Excellent sustain, good with a stick.
