2767 Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with sharp volume and smooth harmony

Simple thadobati with brassy original patina and muted hammermarks. The sound just jumps off of this bowl, unusually loud for such a small bowl. The volume does nothing to detract from the smoothly harmonious soundscape which is a mixture of activity and complexity. Excellent sustain. The bowl goes to volume very quickly when the rim is played with wood With overtones at E6, D#7, B7, A#5.
