3631 Large Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with many tones blending together

Large Thadobati with a slightly flared open shape handsome original patina. Harmonious soundscape with many tones blending together. In clip 1 you can hear the difference between a soft tap where the bas is strong to a harder one where the highs are most noticeable. Sustain is just fair, a function of the flared rim. Outstanding rim play, pure low with leather and varied highs with wood. Listen to the flutter at the end of clip[ 2 using a massive yew wand. With overtones at C5, D#6, G6.
