3632 Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with smooth room filling sound

Thick worn large Thadobati with flared out shape. A very old bowl where even deep artistic features are worn smooth. Smoothly complex soundscape with four tones that play flawlessly with each other. The smoothness is likely a function of the age and just how much metal has been worn off this bowl. Excellent sustain. It takes a bit of work to get it going with leather on the rim, your reward is a smooth low. Played with wood the bowl shines, up to whatever volume level you like, a real room filler. With overtones at F5, E6, B6.
