3742 Large Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with strong low and solid overtone

Large Thadobati with worn markings and original patina. The six inner circles are arranged in two clear groups. Strong low oscillating strike tone followed by a smooth sounding overtone. As the low dissipates the bowl slides into peacefulness. The bass plays strongly off the rim with leather. You need a big stick to tame the active rim. Overtones come out with wood, much richer with a wand than a simplestick.3 With overtones at C5, A#5, F#6.
