3763 Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with a Solfeggio 528 Hz rim tone
Large Thadobati with dark patina. A bottom circle pattern peers through the darkness. This is a big and heavy bowl weighing in over a kilo. Good deep strike tone with some short lived overtones, it quiets quickly to the main note. If you want the Solfeggio overtone at 528 Hz buy a high tone mallet. The dark rim gives the bowl good gripping power with leather. Fine way to play a 528 Hz pure note when you lean into the rim (second part recording 2) With overtones at C5, B5, G6, F#4.
