3881 Large Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with even tempered alto pulse

Large Thadobati with rich patina and broad artwork both inside and out. Low strike note quickly overshadowed by an even tempered siren like pulsing overtone. Only fair sustain, not much over 30 seconds which works because it plays nicely with a mallet. Soft tapping brings out the best sound. Plays fine with leather, old patina on the rim makes wood a bit scratchy as is pushing the bowl too much to the high side. Marked down for the subtle high sonic issues. With overtones at D5, D6, A6.
