3882 Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with pulses swirls and sings

Extra thick very old large Thadobati. The bowl has a flared out shape with the rim tilting to the outside. The patina is dark, almost black in places over a brassy golden hue. The bowl is smooth form long hand wear. This is a rare style bowl, increasingly hard to come by. Active and balanced soundscape, lots of complexity with notes that work well together. Good sustain. Plays well off the rim, middle C with leather overtone with wood. With overtones at F5, E6, F7, C5.
