5143 Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with solid low and fluttering high

Mid-size Thadobati with extensive worn artwork and original patina. The bowl has the unusual combination of thin walls and a heavy flat bottom making it extremely stable. Relatively simple soundscape where a sloid low is complemented by a softly active high. Excellent longevity with both tones continuing on. Great rim sustain off of leather. And wood. Huge volume, too. Wands don’t really do any better. With overtones at F#5, F6, C5.
