5243 Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with wildly complex and unique sound

Thadobati with lots of sharp artwork and complex brassy patina. A thin light bowl with an unusual flared out shape. What an unusual soundscape! It has an incredibly rich timbre, so many tones at once, yet they ring together as a whole. Longevity is good, but the sound on strike has so much texture you’ll enjoy tapping this bowl again and again. Played off the rim with plain wood it sounds good but the simplification does not do justice to the magic of this bowl. With a wand you get hints of it With overtones at E5, D6, A#6, E7.
