5297 Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with great sounding middle A

Simple Thadobati with creamy original patina. A heavy bottomed, thin walled bowl with no trace of art. Great sounding middle A, strong and clear with fluttering intensity. Very good sustain. While you can tease some sound out with leather the way to play the rim is with wood. It is smooth and you can bring out great intensity easily. With overtones at D#6, C#7, A7, A5.
