2558 Thick Adorned Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with excellent longevity

Triple circle pattern Thadobati with bright original patina. The old style bowl has a wide rim and a clear set of small exterior circles and clear inner lines. Great example of this style. Good complexity for such a thick old bowl, lots of activity in the soundscape. Excellent sustain both on strike and when played around the rim. An extremely powerful bowl when played with ringing sticks – this one moves quickly to intense volume. The rim is nice and smooth so the bowl plays really smoothly. You may be able to tease out higher overtone with a wand. With overtones at C6, D6, F7.
