2552 Polished Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with high tone.

Brightly polished extra thick thadobati with sharp interior artwork, exterior tick lines and an incuse double rim. Nice example of a thick old bowl. The initial strike tone is high for thiis style bowl. Over time that tone drops out leaving a relatively long lasting overtone. Playing with a ringing stick takes a bit of work, as the bowl takes some time to get up to volume. Wood play only, best with a hard wand. With overtones at C6, G6.
