2659 Super Tiny Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with high fluttering overtone

Tiny thick Thadobati with dark, almost black patina. At 3 5/8″ it is a rare item, almost as small as you will ever see a singing bowl. When struck with a hard mallet the bowl has a solid high strike tone and a pretty strong fluttering overtone. A subtle overtone exactly twice the frequency of the strike completes the simple soundscape. Surprisingly good longevity on the sustain. Not much for stick or wand play, you can get it going with some effort (recording 2) With overtones at G6, C#7.
