122 Unique Antique Singing Bowl with pulsing double tone

Spectacular looking bright heavy old bowl with sharp inscription. This unusual bowl has the height of a Thadobati and the thick rim of a Jambati. The metal is very smooth. There are two separate inscriptions on opposite sides of the bowl. The rounded closed shape helps to give the bowl it’s special sound. Pulsing tones on both the high and low end play off each other and grow more profound as the ring progresses. There is an ancient crack in the rim, probably from the time the bowl was made. This means using the ringing stick with a short back and forth motion instead of going around the bowl. As you can hear in clip 2 this has a stunning result. The bowl plays well and you can really control the pulse with your stick movement
