1380 Large Thick Antique Jambati Singing Bowl with very high notes

Old style Jambati with an inner facing rim broad enough to have three wide spaced sections. It has distinctive etching inside that peers through rough and colorful patina. The bowl is heavy and very thick. It has a pleasant and simple soundscape at the very top of the third octave – a primary note that can be an overtone of a deeper bowl. . Since the bowl is so thick you can hit it hard to get volume and sustain out of it. Off the rim, leather or wood, stick or wand the note is the same. With overtone at F#5.
