1213 Antique Jambati Singing Bowl with sweet softly pulsing soundscape

Very thick Jambati with many worn exterior lines. An unusual old bowl that is very heavy for its size. An alto Jambati with an even complex soundscape where the most prominent overtone pulses slowly. This gives the soundscape a soft lilting quality. Excellent sustain, the primary overtone really has staying power – unusual for such a thick bowl. Great bowl for playing the rim with a stick, our special extra large one makes play really easy. Marvelously smoot sound off the rim, just listen to recording 2. Sustain is great with the bass tone (leather) as well as overtones (wood). With overtones at C5, C6, G#6, D7.
