1227 Rare Antique Jambati Singing Bowl with high fluttering tone.

Rare heavy weight broad rim Jambati. This old style bowl has golden original patina and extensive worn artwork. It is very unusual to see a Jambati bowl ring above 300Hz. As a 4th octave D, this bowl is pretty much one of a kind. The strike is pure with a soft flutter. Not much sustain. The ancient stylistic edge does not lend itself to stick play, only implement I could recommend with this bowl is a massive Perry wand With overtones at A#4, A#5, F#6, A6.
