1084 Antique Jambati Singing Bowl with rare 528 Hz Solfeggio overtone. #1084

1. Best L 2 Large Very Low Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: N105 XL Ringing Stick leather followed by N103 Large Ringing Stick then FP Massive Zebrawood Wand

Classical old style Jambati, with a broad rim and clear artwork. Inside and out the bowl is smooth to the touch from wear. Throughout the color mostly bright, this despite the fact we’ve had this bowl 10 years, since 2012. It has a hairline crack at the bottom where the bowl turns up, not an issue for sound or integrity and barely visible. Very sweet and harmonious soundscape featuring an extremely rare 528 Hz Solfeggio overtone, the first one I have found in a Jambati. Longevity is between very good and excellent, a light tap goes a long way. Spectacular rim play, With a big leather stick the pure fundamental can be played, quite smoothly. The star frequency is the 528 Hz overtone which can be played in a variety of manners. The recording has four distinct modes using a smaller leather stick and a massive hard zebrawood wand before and after letting the bowl sing on its own. All put out the 528 Hz Solfeggio with a level of penetrating power based on the size of the bowl. Rim sustain is excellent. This one of a kind combination of sound and size is rated exceptional. With overtones at C5, C6, G#6. Solfeggio – 174 Hz. Solfeggio – MI 528 Hz Overtone.
