Thick Antique Jambati Singing Bowl with deep bass and even overtone #1140
1140 Thick Antique Jambati Singing Bowl with deep bass and even overtone #1140
Large Jambati with worn classical etching. This thick and heavy bowl is unusually deep with 5 1/2 inch tall walls. Slow pulsing deep bass with an active evenly oscillating overtone. Subtle notes add to the harmony above. Excellent longevity, this thick bowl sustains and projects. The bowl has nice overtones and a second higher tone mallet helps bring out this dimension. Excellent rim play, smooth to volume with a soft touch for pure bass, same smooth play for the two overtones easily played with leather. With overtone at D#4. Perfect A2 (432 Hz Scale) – 108 Hz.
