Extra Thick Antique Jambati Singing Bowl with peaceful fluttering
1375 Extra Thick Antique Jambati Singing Bowl with peaceful fluttering
Extra thick Jambati with remarkable artwork including seven inner circles. The bowl is wide open, low slung and full of interesting hammermarks. Peaceful high bass over a fluttering C5 overtone. The overtone fades throughout the sustain until all that is left is the primary note. Very good harmony, good longevity for such a thick bowl as all that metal resists movement. That soft bass just jumps off the rim with leather, better longevity than with a mallet strike. Overtones come alive with massive wood. With overtones at C5, C6, G#6. Solfeggio – 174 Hz.
