1380 Large Thick Antique Jambati Singing Bowl with very high notes #1380
1. Best L 2 Large Very Low Mallet single tap. |
2. Rim Play: N103 Large Ringing Stick leather followed by FP Massive Yew Wand |
Old style Jambati with an inner facing rim broad enough to have three wide spaced sections. It has distinctive etching inside that peers through rough and colorful patina. The bowl is heavy and very thick. It has a pleasant and simple soundscape at the very top of the tirrd octave – a primary note that can be an opvertone of a deeper bowl. . Since the bowl is so thick you can hit it hard to get volume and sustain out of it. Off the rim, leather or wood, stick or wand the note is the same. With overtone at F#5. Solfeggio – SOL 741 Hz Overtone.
