Large Distinctive Antique Jambati Singing Bowl with smooth main tone #1384

1. N77 XL Nepali Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: FP Massive Yew Wand

Super thick spectacularly etched very large Jambati bowl with a very broad rim adorned with clear etching. The bowl has a bright color inside and darker patina on the exterior. The deep exterior etching that gives the impression of relief art. Inside the etched circles have a variety of styles. At 6 pounds this bowl is at the very high end for this style. Smooth rapidly pulsing main tone, high due to the super thickness, that plays with just a bit of overtone. Good longevity and premium harmony. A massive yew wand is the way to spin this super heavy bowl. The shape allows fine contact with the side of the bowl for the lower part of the soundscape and the softness of the wood tames the sharper part of the rim for overtones. A rare exceptionally heavy bowl. With overtones at D5, C#6.
