Antique Jambati Singing Bowl with high yet peaceful and calming sound
1473 Antique Jambati Singing Bowl with high yet peaceful and calming sound
1. Best L 6 Large Medium Mallet single tap. |
2. Rim Play: N103 Large Ringing Stick leather followed by FP Massive Zebrawood Wand |
Really smooth polished Jambati with a flat bottom and broad rim. This bowl has seen lots of hand wear. Very high soundscape for a Jambati, it is rare for them to go over 200 Hz. The high notes play smoothly with some nice texture while the low is a solid presence. The combination is wonderful, peaceful and calming despite the high tones. Great rim play with leather, mix of tones with spectacular longevity. With deft play a massive wand will skew rip play to the overtones. This is a rare type bowl with excellent playing characteristics. With overtones at G#4, D#5, D6.
