Large Distinctive Antique Jambati Singing Bowl with Fluttering bass #1513

1. Best L 2 Large Very Low Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: N103 Large Ringing Stick leather followed by FP Massive Yew Wand

Extra thick Jambati with ancient very dark patina. The bowl has a rare rolled and crushed rim. The etching, inside and out can be seen peering through the patina. Fluttering fundamental tone with a matching fast oscillating overtone. Fine longevity as both notes bounce along in parallel. This is a good bowl to buy two mallets for to hear lows and highs accentuated. The rim does not lend itself to leather so what plays is the overtone. That comes across strongly with fine longevity. Simple wood a bit brighter, massive wand smoother. With overtones at E5, D6, A#6.
