Antique Jambati Singing Bowl with a lighthearted upper register
1525 Antique Jambati Singing Bowl with a lighthearted upper register
1. N77 XL Nepal Mallet single tap. |
2. Rim Play: N105 XL Ringing Stick leather low then overtone |
Dark Jambati with green copper rust and sharp features. This bowl looks like it has seen a lot of use but little cleaning. Pulsing primary tone with a lighthearted second overtone and textured main overtone. Over time all that is left is the fundamental. Harmony is good, longevity just ok. The rim is very much centered on the primary tone. For the overtones best you can do is a soft wood wand and put up with the scratchy uptake. With overtones at A#4, A#5, F#6.
