Massive Antique Jambati Singing Bowl with low bass with active overtones

1558 Massive Antique Jambati Singing Bowl with low bass with active overtones
Massive Jambati with dark almost black patina and a deeply etched inscription. The bowl is tall, over 6 inches and heavy, almost 3 KG. A one of a kind piece. Deep primary with an active set of tones, this dark beauty has a bright soundscape that contrasts its color. A bowl with energizing power and smooth harmony. As with many bowls over 5 Lbs. great Sustain. Off the rim you hear the overtone and feel the bass. It is easy to play with leather. Due to a textured rim. That rim is a bit rough until you lift off with wood – but the pure overtone is worth it. With overtone at D4.
