1572 Antique Jambati Singing Bowl with a slow bass with a smooth overtone

Large old Jambati with dark hammermark patina and a smooth touch from long wear. Fine looking classical bowl. It has a small pressure crack in the sidewall. Peaceful slowly pulsing bass with a smooth overtone. Fine harmony and excellent sustain. When struck softly the sound is smooth and even, with force the sonic effect of the flaw is audible. Excellent rim play without a hint of the flaw, smooth to volume with bass, same for the two overtones easily played with leather. Marked down for the crack that you can hear with strong mallet play. If you are looking for a big Jambati bowl, a perfect 110 HZ A and enjoy rim play this is a great value. With overtones at E4, E5. Perfect A2 – 110 Hz.
