Thick Antique Jambati Singing Bowl with a woo woo overtone.
1581 Thick Antique Jambati Singing Bowl with a woo woo overtone.
Thick tall Jambati with deeply etched lines and a broad rim. The bright surface form years of cleaning has small rougher rust spots all around. Nice contrast. The thickness results in a relatively high strike tone which is a subtle presence underneath a woo woo overtone. Excellent harmony and longevity. Fine rim play, powerful bass and overtone with leather. Wood sounds just about the same as leather so I did not put it in the recording. With overtones at A4, G#5, F6.
