Antique Jambati Singing Bowl that starts with a burst of complexity #1668

1668 Antique Jambati Singing Bowl that starts with a burst of complexity #1668

1. Best L1 Large Soft White Felt Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: N105 XL Ringing Stick leather followed by FP Massive Yew Wand

Heavy Jambati with black exterior finish and deep hammermarks. Inside are some scratchy looking circles. Unusual changing soundscape. It starts with a burst of complexity then quickly moves to showing off it’s deep pulsing bass. Sustain is an interesting mix, 45 seconds maybe but with an initial rise then fall off as the bass comes through. Mostly bass with leather, easily with power. For overtones simple wood is a bit rough, instead go for the massive yew wand. With overtones at E4, D#5. Perfect A2 (432 Hz Scale) – 108 Hz.
