Handsome Jambati with a glowing polished gold colored interior contrasted by a black and brass exterior. The two texture exterior has a sharp etching line, very tidily done. Inside the worn bottom etching, which appears to have been more elaborate than most bowls of this style is faint from hand wear. Steady and peaceful soundscape, one that hums along, albeit very deeply, with premium harmony and very good sustain. Listening to the partials teased out from rim play can help you understand the sandscape. Both bass and overtone are relatively easy to play with leather and wood respectively. As you listen you can hear the very similar timbre, both a gently oscillating drone. this is an unusually steady bowl, deeply calming. With overtones at D#4, E5.
